Game Parks
Like ski fields game parks offer various levels of service
to suit peoples personnel choice of comfort, security and facilities and each
is a compromise of cost, crowds and
enjoyment.
You have the deluxe private resorts which is akin to Helicopter
skiing. The Kruger Parks which is associated with the Whistlers, Lake Louise or in NZ the Whakapapa, Coronet or Cardrona.

And then there are the Club fields where assistance is
minimal you make fresh tracks and you stop and talk to everyone on the slope.
This is the Kalahari, Khwai Development
park or Nxai pan.
Kruger was interesting and comfortable, there were a lot of
animals, but it does not have the same sense of rawness that you get with the
others. Maybe it’s the 200 other campers, the safety or all the carvans &
clean 2 wheel drive cars.
Kruger is better than a zoo but its not the Kalahari.
