Italian hospitality & a clean shirt

We stagger out of the Leonardo da Vinci airport of Rome like some the loser in a boxing match, feeling exhausted, dirty and grumpy. No clothes, no money, no credit card.

We locate the meeting point and are greeted by a warm "Buon giorno!" Quickly followed by “where are your bags”. We explain the situation. “non c'è problema, senza”

But it is a problem we respond. “We have no cash to pay for the transport”. Spying Bronni’s Guitar his response was. “You can sing for your transport”.

A nervous laugh from Bronni, before we realize that our taxi driver is also our host at the B and B we are staying at.
His next comment was. “It is good you don’t have bags because your room is small”

Giorgio is a natural in the hospitality industry. The place is okay but it his personality, tips on using the buses, getting into the colosseo and where to eat real Italian style is what counts. He organized the delivery of our bags, booking into special events and gave us our bags at 11.00pm last night.

With a clean shirt and good information we begin to explore Roma.
