Cuenca

After a terrible night’s sleep of fighting over the middle spot in a terribly sagging bed getting up early was a great option on Wednesday morning. Besides we were going to explore the Ruidera national park on bikes and finally see some green and water.
I look out of the window and see………….nothing………..just white……… I poke my head outside …..its cold. Google tells me the current temperature is 5oC and the fog will be around till lunch time…….. Now what. Going back to  that bed was not an option and sitting here reading a book till the fog lifts might be like waiting to win lotto………it might happen it might not. This is the reason I don’t buy lotto tickets and it is the same reason I wasn’t prepared to wait for the temperature to warm up and the fog to lift.  Fortunately good old Bronni has a plan B……….. and possible C,D, E; she probably has well and truly worked me out after 31 years.  Let go to Cuenca some 2 hrs away to check out this old historical town that solved its housing problems by building into the sky she suggested. …….and just like that we hit the road.
It was a great drive as we went through some amazing agriculture that stretch for miles of vineyards, grain and olives.  We parked on the outside of town and climbed on our trusty bikes to weave our way  through the maze of old streets, tourists and traffic.
This was truly an epic day .

A special note to Ann who is looking for a house and cannot find a section…. Why not just hang you house off the cliff.

A novel way to expand your section... Daylighting

Whoops!... sometimes we hit stairs...
